A:  Carlisle - “Two and a half miles from Brampton on north side of road heading west on A69 - toilets with multiple phone numbers and ads / comments re cars etc.  From M6 take J43 onto A69, follow signs for Brampton for approx. five miles then take turn off at farm onto lay-by leading to toilets (closed at night) and picnic area.  Used by truckers (parked up on the lay-by), couples and gays, some Police presence.”  “The good lady has enjoyed a fair few encounters at the Carlisle site, she enjoys flashing from the car then attending to her visitors through the open car window, all good fun…” (TLK)  “The site at Carlisle has just opened again.  It’s been closed all summer after 6:00pm due to foot and mouth.  They have cut down a lot of the bushes, and now have lights on the small car park by the toilets.  Fun can still be had further up the lay-by.  The lay-by was closed after 6:00pm due to the fact that people were going through the gaps in the hedges into the fields for sex…”  Al wrote: “The toilets were open twenty-four hours.  Due to a lot of gay activity they now close them at 6:00pm.  The cleaners barrier the road when they come to lock the toilets at 6:00 p.m. They must think this is cheaper than repairing the hedges…”
